Gammon with thyme and sweet corn

Delight your friends or family with this delicious, festive main dish. The paprika-honey-thyme glaze partners the gammon perfectly and ensures the meat develops a delicious, crispy crust, but at the same time stays succulent and tender inside

Preparation method

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 °C.
  2. Mix the honey with the paprika powder. Pat the gammon dry with kitchen paper and brush with the honey-paprika glaze. Remove the thyme leaves from the sprigs and scatter over the meat. Place the gammon in an oven dish. Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes. Brush every 5 minutes with the he honey-paprika glaze.
  3. Remove the husks form the corn and halve the cobs. Cook in boiling water for approx. 10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold running water to stop the cooking process.
  4. Allow the gammon to rest covered for 5 minutes, then slice thinly. Serve with the corn cobs.
