The mango: not only ready to eat but also easy to prepare

In the countries where it originally comes from, the fruit even has religious significance. That says a lot about the status the mango enjoys. In Western European kitchens, the mango is primarily an exotic fruit that we wouldn’t want to be without. Just think of all the ways you can use this fruit! Especially if you know the best way to prepare a ripe EAT ME mango: it’s actually very easy.

There are quite a few varieties of mango grown worldwide. In shops, you’ll usually come across four varieties, which differ in shape and colour: Kent, Keitt and Palmer.

You’ll also notice a slight difference in flavour between the varieties. Not much, though, as the juicy flesh of every mango is rich and sweet.
